When one walks through museums, it is hard not to be struck by the works of such masters like Rembrandt, Rubens, and Velazquez. Natural discoloring and aging of the surface aside, their artworks have a surprising freshness and vitality that is lost in works being done as recently as the nineteenth century. This workshop will introduce students to an exciting new formula based on extensive research, trial and error. While it may never be known what mediums they used for certain, this solvent-free, all natural, homemade paint vehicle ensures durability and full control of the paints in ways not available with commercial products. Julian Tejera

Free samples will be available for each student to test out on their own.
